The activity diagram represents how standard user-centered design (UCD) phases (observe & analyze, envision & design, and evaluate & refine) and their associated activities fit within the standard waterfall development process. Personas and scenarios are depicted as two overarching activities which are iterated on anf referenced and guide the entire approach.
